Abstract

Geotermalne elektrane za proizvodnju električne energije koriste zemljinu toplinsku energiju, koja je obnovljiva, te time geotermalna energija spada u obnovljive izvore energije. U novije doba, u svijetu se bilježi značajan rast instaliranih kapaciteta geotermalnih elektrana. Postoji nekoliko vrsta geotermalnih elektrana, no tri tipa postrojenja su najvažnija jer se najviše koriste u svijetu; to su postrojenje s procesom suhe pare, postrojenje s procesom jednostrukog isparavanja te postrojenje s binarnim ili organskim Rankine-ovim procesom (ORC). U ovom diplomskom radu prikazan je matematički model energetskog proračuna za sva tri tipa geotermalnih elektrana, te je izvedena analiza slučaja kako bi se sva tri tipa postrojenja usporedila prema učinkovitosti konverzije i proizvedenoj snazi električne energije. Za analizu slučaja su korišteni djelomično identični ulazni podaci kako bi usporedba bila relevantna.

Abstract (english)

Geothermal power plants use geothermal heat which is renewable for electricity generation. Therefor, geothermal energy belongs to the category of renewable energy. Recently, a significant increase of installed capacity of geothermal power plants has been recorded worldwide. There are several types of geothermal plants, but three types are most important because they are most commonly used. These are: dry steam power plants, single flash power plants and binary power plants. In this Master's thesis mathematical model for each of the three types of geothermal power plants is presented and a case analysis is conducted in order to compare all three types of geothermal plants according to the conversion efficiency and generated electricity power. In order for that comparison to be relevant, partially identical input data is used incase analysis.
