Abstract

Prirodni plin kao primarni energent obzirom na emisiju CO2 prihvatljiviji je energent od nafte i ugljena te usprkos sve manjoj potražnji u razdoblju od 2011. do 2014. godine, ipak je zadržao svoj udio u ukupnoj potrošnji primarne energije u Hrvatskoj. Europa je postavila zadane klimatske ciljeve; smanjenje emisije stakleničkih plinova za 20% do 2020. godine, povećanjem energetske učinkovitosti smanjiti ukupnu energetsku potrošnju za 20 % do 2020. godine, ostvarivanje udjela obnovljivih izvora energije u ukupnoj potrošnji od 20% do 2020. godine, te će se svaki daljnji razvoj temeljiti u tim okvirima. Upravo zahvaljujući tim ciljevima, tržište plina u Hrvatskoj poprima sve veću važnost. Na temelju europske regulacije energetskih tržišta u Hrvatsku su uvedena tri energetska paketa vezana za razvoj unutarnjeg tržišta plina i električne energije. U radu je opisan razvoj hrvatskog tržišta plina u razdoblju od 2011. do 2014. godine, tj. nakon provedbe trećeg energetskog paketa. Uz razvoj tržišta opisani su i sudionici na tržištu, te udio prirodnog plina u ukupnoj proizvodnji i potrošnji energije.

Abstract (english)

Abstract: Natural gas as a primary energy source in relation to CO2 emission is a more acceptable energy source than oil and coal and despite a decreasing demand in the period from 2011 to 2014, natural gas has kept its share in the total primary energy consumption in Croatia. Europe has set its climate objectives; a 20% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2020, raising the share of energy consumption produced from renewable resources to 20% by 2020, a 20% improvement in energy efficiency by 2020, and any further development will be based in this framework. Thanks to these goals, the gas market in Croatia becomes of increasing importance. Based on the European regulation of energy markets, in Croatia are implemented three energy packages related to the development of the internal gas and electricity market. This thesis describes the development of the Croatian gas market in the period from 2011 to 2014, after the implementation of the third energy package. The thesis also describes the market participants, and the share of natural gas in total energy production and consumption.
