Abstract

Skladištenje toplinske energije u tlo metoda je uravnoteženja neravnomjerne potrošnje energije za grijanje tijekom godine. Princip se zasniva na uskladištenju toplinske energije tijekom ljetnih mjeseci kako bi se tijekom zimskih mjeseci ta energija mogla koristiti u svrhu grijanja u zgradarstvu. Različiti oblici skladištenja toplinske energije mogu biti projektirani na način da se energija pohranjuje u matriks stijene ili u vodonosnik. Ovaj diplomski rad obrađuje metodu skladištenja toplinske energije u polje bušotinskih izmjenjivača topline koji su projektirani za iskorištavanje plitke geotermalne energije u svrhu grijanja i hlađenja zgrada. Posebno je obrađen model pohranjivanja sunčeve energije pomoću kolektora u bušotinsko polje, te je napravljena analiza slučaja na primjeru jedne zgrade. Rezultati simulacije su pokazali da paralelni rad geotermalnog sustava za grijanje i hlađenje i BTES sustava pohrane sunčeve energije nije tehnoekonomski isplativ. Razlog je taj što se sva energetska dobit tijekom zimskih mjeseci u sustavu grijanja gubi tijekom sezone hlađenja, obzirom na termodinamički način rada dizalica topline. Ovakvi sustavi pohrane stoga imaju opravdanost u hladnijim područjima i ukoliko postoji relativno dostupna otpadna toplinska energija za uskladištenje iz industrije ili energetskih sustava.

Abstract (english)

Storage of thermal energy in the ground is a method of balancing uneven energy consumption for heating during the year. The principle is based on the storage of thermal energy during the summer months so that during the winter months this energy can be used for heating purposes in buildings. Different forms of thermal energy storage can be designed in such a way that energy is stored in a rock matrix or in an aquifer. This thesis deals with the method of storing heat energy in the field of borehole heat exchangers designed for the use of shallow geothermal energy for the purpose of heating and cooling buildings. The model of storing solar energy using panel collectors in a borehole field is particularly discussed, and a case analysis is made using the example of one building. The simulation results have shown that the parallel operation of the geothermal heating and cooling system and the BTES solar energy storage system is not technologically economically viable. The reason is that all energy gain in the heating system during the winter months is lost during the cooling season, given the thermodynamic mode of operation of heat pumps. Such storage systems are therefore justified in colder areas and in cases when the sufficient amount of waste thermal energy from industry or energy systems is available for storage.
