Abstract

Predmet razmatranja ovog diplomskog rada je razvoj plinskog sustava u zemljama Srednjeg istoka. Prirodni plin dobiva sve više na važnosti, dok ga se prije smatralo beskorisnim i spaljivalo na bakljama, danas ga se primjenjuje u širokom spektru gospodarskih djelatnosti. Zbog toga se istraživanju i eksploataciji prirodnog plina sve više okreću i zemlje Srednjega istoka koje su tradicionalno okrenute eksploataciji nafte. U ovom radu obrađeno je nekoliko zemalja Srednjega istoka koje su najznačajnije u svjetskim okvirima po rezervama prirodnog plina koje posjeduju (Saudijska Arabija, Iran, Katar, Oman, Ujedinjeni Arapski Emirati i Sirija).

Abstract (english)

Abstract: The object agitation of this thesis is the gas system development in the Middle Eastern countries. In the past, natural gas was considered useless and was burned on torches, but nowadays it gains more attention and is applicable in a wider range of economy activities. That is the reason why Middle Eastern countries, who are traditionally involved in oil exploitation, are more and more interested in the exploration and production of natural gas. Several Middle Eastern countries - Saudi Arabia, Iran, Qatar, Oman, United Arab Emirates and Syria, that are on a global basis most significant due to large amounts of natural gas reserves, were elaborated in this thesis.
