Abstract

U diplomskom radu predstavljena je tekstilna industrija, uz poseban naglasak na strategije upravljanja otpadom u tom sektoru. U okviru analize tekstilne industrije, istražen je koncept brze mode te njegova povezanost sa ekomanipulacijom (eng. greenwashing). Analiziran je način upravljanja tekstilnim otpadom u Republici Hrvatskoj te je provedeno istraživanje putem internetskog upitnika kako bi se istražila razina informiranosti i uključenosti građana Republike Hrvatske u aktivnosti gospodarenja tekstilnim otpadom. Na kraju rada donosi se zaključak o rezultatima istraživanja koji su relativno pozitivni.

Abstract (english)

In this master's thesis the textile industry is presented, with a particular emphasis on waste mangement strategies in that sector. The concept of fast fashion and its association with greenwashing have been explored within the scope of textile industry analysis. The management of textile waste in the Republic of Croatia has been scrutinized and a research study utilizing an online questionnaire has been conducted to examine the level of awareness and engagement of Croatian citizens in textile waste management activities. The conclusion of the study presents relatively positive findings.
