Abstract

Stabilnost kosina još uvijek predstavlja jedan od glavnih problema u inženjerskoj
mehanici stijena. Općenito, stabilnost se izražava preko faktora sigurnosti, a njegovom
proračunu treba prethoditi kvalitetna analiza prikupljenih podataka i utvrđivanje
potencijalnih oblika sloma na kosini. Samo kada su potpuno poznati uvjeti na kosini i
mogući oblici sloma može se odgovarajuće odrediti vrijednost faktora sigurnosti. Svaki
oblik sloma može se prikazati geometrijski kao odnos orijentacije skupova diskontinuiteta
u odnosu na orijentaciju kosine. Njihovi međusobni odnosi definiraju uvjete koji se moraju
ispuniti da bi došlo do pojave sloma. Određivanje tih uvjeta tema je ovoga rada. Također, u
radu je prikazana metodologija rješavanja problema stabilnosti kosina (prikupljanje i
obrada podataka te njihova interpretacija). Provedba analize potencijalnih oblika sloma
urađena je na primjeru kamenoloma Ivanec.

Abstract (english)

Abstract: Slope stability still presents one of the most important problems in rock mechanics.
Generally, stability is expressed by factor of safety and its calculation should be preceded
by an analysis of collected data as well as determination of potential failure modes. Only
when these conditions are met, it is possible to determinate the true value of factor of
safety. Failure modes can be presented by geometrical relations between orientation of sets
of discontinuity and orientation of slope. These relations define conditions that have to be
fulfilled so the failure can be possible. The aim of this thesis is determination of these
conditions. Methodology of slope stability analysis is also elaborated by this thesis (data
collection and processing as well as data interpretation). Implementation of potential
failure mode analysis was made on Ivanec quarry.
