Abstract

Stalno povećanje potrošnje plina na svjetskoj razini pa tako i u Europi, zahtijeva i planiranje odgovarajućih skladišnih kapaciteta. U radu su uvodno prikazani tipovi podzemnih skladišta plina te njihove karakteristike, a ukratko je opisano i podzemno skladište plina u Hrvatskoj. Nakon toga prikazani su trenutni kapaciteti postojećih podzemnih skladišta plina u Europi i obrazložena potreba za povećanjem tih kapaciteta u budućnosti. Potreba za budućim skladišnim kapacitetima istaknuta je na primjerima zemalja velikih potrošača plina kao što su Njemačka, Francuska i Velika Britanija.

Abstract (english)

Abstract: The continuous increase in gas consumption at the global level as well as in Europe, requires adequate storage capacity planning. This thesis presents an introductory type of underground gas storage facilities and their characteristics, and briefly described underground gas storage facility in Croatia. Subsequently are shown the current capacity of existing underground gas storage in Europe and explained the need to increase these capacities in the future. The need for future storage capacity is highlighted by the examples of countries, which are large consumers of gas such as Germany, France and Great Britain.
