Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu opisane su metode za određivanje lomne žilavosti predložene od Međunarodnog društva za mehaniku stijena (ISRM), kao i veze između lomne žilavosti i drugih fizikalno-mehaničkih svojstava poput vlačne čvrstoće, tlačne čvrstoće, gustoće, modula elastičnosti i dr. Također su prikazani rezultati provedenog laboratorijskog ispitivanja lomne žilavosti na uzorcima oblika dijametralno nasuprotno poravnatog Brazilskog diska. Ispitane vrijednosti lomne žilavosti pokušalo se prikazati kroz zavisnost o vlačnoj čvrstoći. Materijal koji je korištenu u ovom ispitivanju je vapnenac iz kamenoloma tehničko-građevnog kamena „Podberam“.

Abstract (english)

Abstract: This thesis describes testing methods for determination of fracture toughness suggested by International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM), as well as relations between fracture toughness and other physio-mechanical properties such as tensile strength, compressive strength, density, modulus of elasticity etc. Also, here are shown results of conducted laboratory tests of fracture toughness on flattened Brazilian disc specimens. Fracture toughness values obtained from laboratory tests were tried to be shown through dependence on tensile strength. Material which was used for laboratory testing was limestone from „Podberam“ quarry.
