Abstract

Tema ovog diplomskog rada bila je izrada karte radona na području Republike Hrvatske. Sam rad je koncipiran u tri faze. Prva faza je upoznavanje s geoinformacijskim sustavom odnosno GIS tehnologijom, i konkretno, s korištenim softverom za izradu karata. Druga faza rada je prikaz osnovnih podataka o radonu i osnovne činjenice o djelovanju radona na ljudsko zdravlje. Treća i završna faza je izrada karte radona.
Izrada karte radona je također obavljena u nekoliko faza: unos podataka u GIS sustav, tematsko modeliranje, prostorno povezivanje, prostorna analiza, interpolacija prostornih podataka te izrada konturnih karata. Svi postupci detaljno su opisani u radu.

Abstract (english)

Masters thesis topic was building a radon map on RH territory, and is conceived in three stages. First stage is get to known with geoinformation system (GIS), which was also used for creating map. Second stage is to display basic information about radon and learn how it effect on human health. The third stage, also the finishing stage, is the main topic of this masters thesis and radon map creating.
Building a map of radon zones is conducted in several stages: data entry in (GIS), thematic modeling, spatial connectivity and analysis, interpolation spatial data and creating contour maps. All stages are explained in further text.
