Abstract

Istraživana je ruda magnezita u rudniku Miljevica u BiH. Rudnik je dominantno karakteriziran žilama magnezita u alteriranim ultramafitnim stijenama Krivaja-Konjuh ofiolitnog kompleksa. Petrografskim i mineraloškim analizama uzorci su podijeljeni u 2 skupine: 1) mikrokristalasti magneziti i 2) magnezitne breče. Rendgenskom analizom potvrđeno je da se ruda sastoji od magnezit i dolomit, a serpentiniti od krizotila, lizardita i antigorita. Mineraloškom analizom je utvrđeno da su magneziti kriptokristalasti, što ukazuje na to da je fluid koji je cirkulirao sustavom bio bogat s CO2, te odsustvo talka. Sustav se razvijao u tri faze. Prva faza je regionalna i ona obuhvaća alteraciju lercolita u serpentinit. Druga faza je lokalna i u njoj dolazi do formiranja magnezita cirkulacijom vrućih otopina. Treća i završna faza je karakterizirana tektonikom koja rezultira formiranjem rude uz rasjednu zonu.

Abstract (english)

Investigated are magnesites ore within the mine Miljevica in Bosnia and Hercegovina. Mine is mainly composed of vein type magnesite ores and alternated ultramafic rocks placed within Krivaja-Konjuh ophiolitic complex. Using petrographic and mineralogical analyses on samples were divided in 2 groups: 1) microcrystalline magnesites 2) brecciated magnesites. By X-ray analysis its confirmed that the mineral composition of magnesites ore is consisting of magnesites and dolomite, while serpentinites consist of chrysotile, lizardites and antigorite. Mineral analysis indicted that magnesites structure is cryptocrystalline, which suggest that the fluid that was circulating through system was rich with CO2 and there is absence of talc in samples. Development of deposits was in three phases. The first phase is regional, and it involves the alteration of lercolites to serpentines. The second phase is local, and, in this phase, there is circulation of hot fluid that results in formation of magnesite ore. The third and final phases is characterized by tectonics resulting in the formation of the ore with the fault zone.
