Abstract

Predmet istraživanja diplomskog rada su europsko tržište prirodnog plina u svijetlu
geopolitičkih promjena u razdoblju od 2013. do 2015. godine. U radu su opisane osnovne
karakteristike EU tržišta plina, osnove regulative tržišta plina kao i mjere za sigurnost
opskrbe plinom. U nastavku se govori o geopolitičkim promjenama u razdoblju od 2013.
do 2015. godine sa fokusom na rusko-ukrajinsku krizu 2014. godine, ali i posljedice
arapskog proljeća nešto ranije. Također su navedeni aktualni izazovi tržišta plina u
jugoistočnoj Europi i opisani su infrasturkturni projekti koji su od značaja za tu regiju.

Abstract (english)

Abstract: The subject of research are the European natural gas market in the light of geopolitical
changes in the period from 2013 to 2015. The paper describes the main features of the EU
gas market, the gas market fundamentals regulations as well as measures for the security of
gas supply. The following discusses is about geopolitical changes in the period from 2013
to 2015 with a focus on the Russian-Ukrainian crisis of 2014 but also the consequences of
the Arab Spring earlier. There are also listed the current challenges of the gas market in
South East Europe and describes the infrastructural projects that are important for the
region.
