Abstract

U radu je prikazana poslovna strategija tvrtke Gazprom u razdoblju 2013./2015. godine. Naglasak je stavljen na operativne i financijske pokazatelje tvrtke u navedenom razdoblju u sektorima istraživanja i proizvodnje plina primarno, budući da su isti neophodni za uspješno ostvarivanje ciljeva tvrtke. Gazprom nastoji održavati financijsku stabilnost i mogućnost pokretanja novih razvojnih projekata, ali utjecaj Ukrajinske krize i pada vrijednosti ruskog rublja ostavlja posljedice, te se odražava na poslovanje tvrtke. Tvrtki pogoduje povoljan geografski položaja između Europe i Azije, te Europa predstavlja stalno Gazpromovo tržište. Tvrtka konstantno investira kako bi proširila svoj udio na tržištu ukapljenog prirodnog plina u svrhu povećanja prednosti nad konkurencijom. Gazpromov cilj je da postane vodeći u utrci između globalnih energetskih kompanija na način da razvija nova tržišta, diversifikacijom poslovnih aktivnosti te osiguranjem konstantne opskrbe proizvoda.

Abstract (english)

Abstract: This thesis analyses the business strategy of Gazprom Company in the period 2013./2015. with emphasis on the company’s financial and operating results. Gazprom is a global vertically integrated energy company that greatly contributes to the rapid growth of the Russian economy with the aim of benefiting the whole of Russia. This thesis is focused on Gazprom's gas production, transportation network, storage and markets. In the challenging environment, Gazprom kept its financial stability and ability to run largescale projects. Economic and political factors became stronger in the second half of 2014, like political turmoil in Ukraine and economic sanctions imposed on Russia which led to an overall reduction in gas consumption and changes in bussines strategy. Due to the favorable geographical position between Europe and Asia, Europe has become a permanent market for Gazprom. Gazprom's goal is to become the leader in the race between global energy companies by developing new markets, diversifying business activities and ensuring a continuous supply of products.
