Abstract

Tema razmatranja ovog diplomskog rada je upotreba plutajućih brana u naftnoj industriji. Na samom početku rada dan je osvrt na ponašanje ugljikovodika kada su razliveni na vodenoj površini. Razmatrano je širenje i kretanje naftne mrlje te utjecaj uvjeta koji djeluju na lokaciji izljeva. U nastavku rada je obrađeno sprečavanje širenja i kretanja mrlje, te upotreba i vrste plutajućih brana u naftnoj industriji. Također je obrađena i djelotvornost plutajućih brana kao i načini postavljanja plutajućih brana na vodene površine.

Abstract (english)

Abstract: Topic discussed in this thesis is the use of floating booms in the petroleum industry. In the first part of this thesis the behavior of hydrocarbons when spilled on water surface is examined. Further more the spreading and movement of oil slick and the impact of conditions on the location which affect the spill are considered. The thesis also discusses the prevention of spreading and movement of the slick by usage of different types of floating booms. Also the effectiveness of floating booms as well as the ways of setting floating booms on water surface are discussed.
