Abstract

Zadatak ovog diplomskog rada bilo je upoznavanje s besplatnim GIS sustavima i softverima te usvajanje određenih vještina i znanja potrebnih za praktično korištenje GIS tehnologije. Unutar rada posjećena je lokacija vodospreme Greberanec na kojoj su testirane aplikacije PDF Maps i OruxMaps. Unutar testiranja aplikacija proučene su njihove mogućnosti i sama preciznost određivanja lokacije pomoću GPS opcije u online i offline verziji rada. Rad obuhvaća i korištenje ArcGIS softvera koji, iako nije u potpunosti besplatan, nakon preuzimanja i instalacije omogućuje 60 dana rada bez plaćanja. ArcGIS se sastoji od dva ključna modula: ArcGIS Pro i ArcMap. Ovdje je unutar softvera ArcMap kreirana karta u PDF formatu koja je korištena u selu Greberanec.

Abstract (english)

Abstract: Getting acquainted with free GIS systems and programmes and obtaining certain skills and knowledge necessary for the practical utilization of GIS technology were the main objectives of this thesis. The testing of PDF Maps and OruxMaps applications was conducted at the location of the Greberanec water tank as part of the paper. The capabilities of the applications and the precision of the location determined by using the GPS option in the online, as well as the offline mode of functioning were examined in the context of application testing. The thesis also covers the ArcGis programme, which can be used free of charge for a trial period of 60 days after installation. ArcGIS consists of two key modules: ArcGIS PRO and ArcMap. The ArcMap programme was used to create a map in PDF format which was used in the Greberanec area.
