Abstract

Ovaj rad predstavlja studiju hrvatskog elektroenergetskog sustava te modeliranje istog uzimajući u obzir povećanje instaliranih kapaciteta odobalnih vjetroelektrana. Model je izrađen kroz nekoliko koraka te je analizirano četiri scenarija s naglaskom na smanjenje kritičnog viška proizvedene električne energije. Drugim riječima prikazana su moguća rješenja skladištenja viškova električne energije koristeći tehnologije kemijske konverzije (P2G). Korištena su dva softvera kako bi se opisao mogući modeli sustava, jedan od njih je EnergyPLAN koji je korišten za izradu prvog, baznog slučaja za 2016. godinu te slučaja u kojem se povećeva kapacitet obnovljivih izvora energije (OIE). Izrađene su zatim krivulje koje opisuju povećanje viška proizvodnje električne energije koje su zatim služile kao ulazni podaci za izradu trećeg i četvrtog modela koji su obrađeni u interpreterskom programu Python. U njima su implementirane tehnologije za kemijsku konverziju koje uključuju tehnologiju elektrolize i metanacije. Na taj su se način viškovi skladištili u obliku kemijske energije plinova vodika i metana. Ovaj rad prikazuje potencijal hrvatskog energetskog sustava te okvire u kojima je moguće djelovati kako bi se postigao veći udio OIE u energetskom miksu, smanjile emisije ugljikovog (IV) oksida istovremeno smanjujući količinu uvezene električne energije ili prirodnog plina, tj povećavajući energetsku neovisnost Republike Hrvatske.

Abstract (english)

This paper presents a study of the Croatian power system and modeling it, taking into account the increase of installed capacity of renewable energy sources (RES). The model was developed in several steps and four scenarios were analyzed with a focus on reducing the critical surplus of electricity produced. In other words, potential solutions for the storage of electricity surpluses are presented using chemical conversion technology (P2G). Two software were used to describe possible system models, one of which was EnergyPLAN used to produce the first, basic case for 2016, and a case where OIE capacity increased. Curves have been made describing the increase in surplus electricity production, which then served as the input data for the third and fourth models that were processed in the Python interpreter. In these scenarios chemical conversion technologies are implemented, they include electrolysis and methanation. This way, surpluses were stored in the form of chemical energy sources of hydrogen and methane gases. This paper presents the potential of the Croatian energy system and the framework in which it is possible to achieve a higher share of RES in the energy mix, reduce the emissions of carbon (IV) oxide while simultaneously reducing the amount of imported electricity or natural gas.
