Abstract

Koeficijent linearnog toplinskog širenja kamena određen je na kvarc arenitu prema europskoj normi HRN EN 14581:2004. Mjerenja su izvedena na dva suha, nesaturirana uzorka. Sukladno normi, mjerenja su provedena mjernim trakama (tenziometarskim trakama) kao mjeračima deformacija. Za ovu metodu potrebni su pećnica s cirkulacijom zraka te uređaj za mjerenje naprezanja tenziometarskim trakama. Uz spomenuta dva uzorka u pećnicu se postavlja i kalibrirani referentni uzorak s poznatim koeficijentom toplinskog širenja. Rezultati oba uzorka prikazuju kako raznolik mineralni sastav utječe na različito širenje mineralnih zrna pri zagrijavanju. Ovo ispitivanje je pokazalo kako je primijenjena metoda pogodna za istraživanje budući da su rezultati u skladu s dosadašnjim rezultatima istraživanja.

Abstract (english)

The coefficient of linear thermal expansion of stone is determined on quartz arenite according to the European standard HRN EN 14581: 2004. Measurements were performed on two dry, unsaturated samples. According to the norm, measurements were performed with measuring tapes (tensiometer tapes) as strain gauges. This method requires an oven with air circulation and a device for measuring stress with strain gauges. In addition to the two samples mentioned, a calibrated reference sample with a known coefficient of thermal expansion is placed in the oven. The results of both samples show how the different mineral composition affects the different spread of mineral grains when heated. This study showed that the applied method is suitable for research since the results are consistent with previous research results.
