Abstract
Postoji više načina određivanja tvrdoće materijala. Jedan od dinamičkih načina određivanjem tvrdoće je Leeb metoda koja se koristi u različitoj inženjerskoj praksi. Metoda je izvorno osmišljena za određivanje tvrdoće metala, ali nekoliko autora koristilo ju je za određivanje tvrdoće stijenskog materijala. Budući da još uvijek ne postoji jedinstvena metodologija ispitivanja stijenskog materijala, ovaj završni rad daje prikaz dosadašnjih istraživanja primjene Leeb uređaja i prikaz provedenih ispitivanja na stijenskom materijalu. Materijal je bio iz eksploatacijskih slojeva i krovinskog sloja na eksploatacijskom polju Kanfanar gdje se vadi arhitektonskograđevni kamen naziva „Istarski žuti“. Time ovaj završni rad daje doprinos u naporima primjene jednostavnijih ispitivanja tvrdoće na stijenskom materijalu općenito.
