Abstract

Prisustvo vode ima utjecaj na svojstva stijenske mase i stijenskog materijala. Što se tiče samog stijenskog materijala u njemu voda može biti prisutna u porama te imati različit utjecaj na njegova fizička i mehanička svojstva. U ovom diplomskom radu prvo je prikazan pregled istraživanja koja su provođena sa svrhom utvrđivanja utjecaja sadržaja vode na fizička i mehanička svojstva stijenskog materijala. Nakon toga je u ovom diplomskom radu ispitan i analiziran stijenski materijal sa nekadašnjeg kamenoloma Vukov Dol. Tom materijalu je u prijašnjim istraživanjima, tijekom projektiranja, utvrđena vrlo velika jednoosna tlačna čvrstoća u suhom i u saturiranom stanju pa to predstavlja gornje granice čvrstoće. Dodatnim analizama koje su obavljane u svrhu izrade ovog diplomskog rada željelo se utvrditi donje granice jednoosne tlačne čvrstoće u suhom i zasićenom stanju. Ovaj rad je naznačio potrebu da se kod ležišta koja imaju složeni nastanak i tektonski su dosta poremećena, poput Vukovog Dola nužno treba utvrđivati baš raspone vrijednosti čvrstoće u suhom i saturiranom stanju kako bi se što realnije prikazala promjena čvrstoće stijenskog materijala uslijed saturacije.

Abstract (english)

In this study, an overview is presented on research conducted to explore how water content influences the physical and mechanical properties of rock materials. The presence of water significantly affects the characteristics of both rock masses and rock materials. Regarding the rock material itself, water can exist within its pores, exerting various effects on its physical and mechanical attributes. Subsequently, the thesis delves into the examination and analysis of rock material sourced from the former Vukov Dol quarry. Previous studies identified this material as possessing exceptionally high uniaxial compressive strength in both dry and saturated states during design processes. These findings set the upper limits of its strength. Additional analyses conducted for this thesis aimed to establish the lower limits of uniaxial compressive strength in dry and saturated conditions. This research underscores the importance of investigating deposits with a complex origin and significant tectonic disturbances, such as Vukovo Dol. Such studies are crucial for accurately delineating the range of strength values in both dry and saturated states, providing a realistic portrayal of how the strength of rock material changes due to saturation.
