Abstract

su stijene bazičnog magmatskog tijela koje pripada magmatsko-sedimentnom kompleksu ofiolitnog pojasa Unutrašnjih Dinarida. Na terenu je prikupljeno dvanaest uzoraka različitih makroskopskih karakteristika. Petrografskim analizama je određen mineralni sastav stijena. Glavni minerali su plagioklas i klinopiroksen, sporedni je ilmenit, dok je apatit akcesorni, a sekundarni minerali su klorit, hornblenda, prehnit, kalcit, minerali glina, sericit, epidot i kvarc. Svi uzorci izuzev jednog su određeni kao spiliti, dok je jedan žilni uzorak determiniran kao albitit. Stijene su intergranularne te mjestimice ofitne strukture i homogene teksture. U okviru geokemijskih istraživanja na 4 odabrana uzorka provedene su analize glavnih elemenata i elemenata u tragovima s elementima rijetkih zemalja. Kemizam stijena triju uzoraka odgovara bazaltu do bazaltnom andezitu, dok kod jednog (žilnog) odgovara trahitu do riodacitu. Utvrđen je toleiitni karakter magmatske serije te pozadinski lučni bazen kao geotektonska pozicija formiranja istraživanih stijena. Usporedbom s prethodnim istraživanjima stijena Banovine zaključeno je da postoji genetska veza između spilita Hrvatskog Sela i spilita s lokaliteta Lasinja.

Abstract (english)

In an unnamed quarry in the immediate vicinity of Hrvatsko Selo, in the west of Banovina, outcrops of basic magmatic rocks were studied. These rocks belong to the magmatic-sedimentary complex of the ophiolite belt of Inner Dinarides. Twelve rock samples of varying macroscopic characteristics were sampled during field work. Petrographic analysis determined the mineral composition of the sampled rocks. Main minerals are plagioclase and clinopyroxene, ilmenite is subordinate, while apatite is accessory. Secondary minerals include chlorite, hornblende, prehnite, calcite, clay minerals, sericite, epidote and quartz. All samples are determined to be spilite, with one exception that is determined as albitite. Studied rock have an interganular texture to ophitic in places, while the structure is homogenous. Analysis of main elements and trace elements with rare earth elements of 4 representative samples has been conducted within the scope of geochemical studies. Three among them are chemically classified as basalts and basaltic andesites, and one is classified as trahite or riodacite. Geochemical analysis points to the tholeiitic character of the magmatic series and back arc basin as the most probable geotectonic position of rock formation environment. Comparison with recent studies of basic rocks of Banovina concluded that a genetic link exists between the spilites of Hrvatsko Selo and the spilites of a quarry in Lasinja.
