Abstract

U ovom radu prikazana je nova metoda hidratacije uzoraka bentonitne gline i glinenih geosintetičkih barijera pomoću pijeska određene vlažnosti. Glavni cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi utjecaj vlažnosti pijeska te vremena hidratacije na završnu vlažnost bentonitne gline i glinene geosintetičke barijere. Istraživanja su izvedena u laboratorijskim uvjetima. Mjerenja su provedena u Geomehaničkom laboratoriju na Rudarsko-geološko-naftnom fakultetu u Zagrebu. Cilj istraživanja je ostvaren obzirom da su se dobili rasponi vlažnosti koji su traženi, utvrdio se utjecaj vlažnosti pijeska i vremena hidratacije na konačnu vlažnost te su dobiveni parametri koji utječu na sam proces hidratacije.

Abstract (english)

Abstract: This thesis describes laboratory testing’s of the bentonite clay samples using a new method of hydration through the contact with sand layers of different initial water content. Tests were done in the laboratory environment. During testing, the main aim was to observe the water content changes in terms of time. Tests were done in the Soil mechanics laboratory at the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering in Zagreb. The aim of the research has been made considering that requested moisture ranges were accomplished, impact of sand moisture and hydration time to a final moisture content was determined and parameters that impact on the process of hydration were obtained.
