Abstract

EGS (engl. enhanced or engineered geothermal system) poboljšani ili projektirani geotermalni sustav tehnologija je u iskorištavanju geotermalne energije. Tehnologija se temelji na visokoj temperaturi ležišta koja se postiže dubokim bušenjem. Temelji se i na stimuliranju ležišta odnosno na hidrauličkom frakturiranju kako bi se povećala propusnost stijena što rezultira boljim protjecanjem radnog fluida kroz ležište. Ujedno osigurava i veću kontaktnu površinu između radnog fluida i stijene. Na taj način poboljšan je prijenos topline sa stijene na fluid koji se proizvodi. Pregled literature i projekata dio su prvog dijela rada, a nakon toga slijede teorijski aspekti EGS-a, prema kojima je napravljen model dobivanja toplinske energije iz geotermalnog ležišta EGS-a.

Abstract (english)

EGS enhanced or engineered geothermal system is a technology that deals with the use of geothermal energy. The technology is based on high temperature of reservoirs which is achieved by deep drilling. It is also based on the stimulation of the reservoir or hydraulic fracturing to increase the permeability of the rock which results in better flow of a working fluid through the reservoir. At the same time, it provides a larger contact surface among the working fluid and the rock. With this process, the heat transfer from the rock to the produced fluid is improved. First part of thesis consists of literature and project review. Further come the teoretical aspects of EGS, according to which a model of obtaining thermal energy from geothermal reservoir of EGS is made of.
