Abstract

Dekarbonizacija energetskog sustava i uvođenje obnovljivih izvora energije nužni su za izbjegavanje posljedica klimatskih promjena i smanjenje emisija ugljikovog dioksida. Buduće energetske sustave sastavljene od većinom obnovljivih izvora energije, biti će potrebno optimizirati. U radu je prikazano moguće skladištenje viškova električne energije koristeći tehnologiju Power-to-Gas. Korištena su dva softvera, EnergyPLAN i Python za izradu scenarija u kojima se mijenjaju određeni parametri sustava. U njima su implementirane tehnologije za optimiziranje sustava koje uključuju tehnologiju elektrolize i metanacije. Na taj su se način viškovi električne energije skladištili u obliku kemijske energije vodika i metana. U ovom radu prikazano je moguće djelovanje za postizanje većeg udjela OIE u elektroenergetskim sustavima te optimiziranje troškova uz smanjenje emisija ugljikovog dioksida, smanjenje uvoza električne energije i plina.

Abstract (english)

Decarbonization of the energy system and the introduction of renewable energy sources are necessary to avoid the consequences of climate change and to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. It will be necessary to optimize future energy systems composed of mostly renewable energy sources. This paper shows the possible storage of excess electricity using Power-to-Gas technology. Two software products, EnergyPLAN and Python, were used to create scenarios in which certain system parameters are changed. They have implemented technologies to optimize the system, including electrolysis and methanation technology. In this way, excess electricity was stored in the form of chemical energy of hydrogen and methane. This paper presents the possible action to achieve a higher share of RES in power systems and optimization of costs while reducing carbon dioxide emissions, reducing electricity and gas imports.
