Abstract

Terminski ugovori su standardizirani ugovori kojima kupac pristaje kupiti određenu količinu robe (npr. sirove nafte) po određenoj cijeni s isporukom na neki datum u budućnosti. Opcijski ugovor je sporazum između prodavača i kupca koji daje kupcu ugovora pravo na kupnju ili prodaju određene robe po određenoj cijeni u budućnosti. Kupci i prodavači mogu upravljati rizikom promjene cijene kupnjom ili prodajom terminskih i opcijskih ugovora.

Abstract (english)

Abstract: Futures contracts are standardized, exchange-traded contracts in which the contract buyer agrees to take delivery of a specific quantity of stock (eg. crude oil) from the seller, of a predetermined price for a future delivery date. An options contract is an agreement between a buyer and seller that gives the purchaser of the option the right to buy or sell a particular asset at a later date at agreed upon price. Consumers and producers can manage stocks price risk by purchasing and selling futures and options contracts.
