Abstract

U geotermalnim ležištima gdje su temperature nedovoljne za nastajanje pare, za proizvodnju električne energije koriste se geotermalne elektrane s binarnim ciklusom. Ovakav tip elektrane radi na principu da geotermalni fluid u izmjenjivaču topline prenosi svoju toplinu na sekundarni (radni) fluid koji najčešće ima točku isparavanja nižu od 100°C. Taj je termodinamički ciklus poznat kao organski Rankineov ciklus (ORC). U diplomskom radu napravljena je analiza rada pet radnih fluida u organskom Rankineovom ciklusu. Svaki radni fluid, ovisno o svojim termodinamičkim svojstvima, prikazuje različite učinkovitosti rada u ciklusu.

Abstract (english)

In geothermal reservoirs where temperatures are insufficient to generate vapor, geothermal power plants with binary cycle are used for the production of electrical energy. This kind of power plant works in such a way that the geothermal fluid in the heat exchanger transfers its heat to the secondary (working) fluid that most often has a boiling point lower than 100˚C. This thermodynamic cycle is known as the organic Rankine cycle (ORC). In this Master’s thesis, the work of five working fluids in the organic Rankine cycle is analyzed. Each working fluid, depending on its thermodynamic properties, shows different cycling performance.
