Abstract

Energetska neovisnost ključna je u razvoju svake zemlje, a za nju su bitni dostatni izvori energije i opskrba iz što većeg broja dobavnih pravaca. Prirodni plin je fosilno gorivo sa najmanjim ugljičnim otiskom i kao takav je najznačajniji energent u razdoblju prijelaza s izvora energije koji zagađuju okoliš na one koji čuvaju okoliš, odnosno na obnovljive izvore energije. U ovom radu analizirana je energetska potrošnja Republike Hrvatske i Europe s naglaskom na prirodni plin i nove plinovode kojima će prirodni plin biti moguće dovoditi u Republiku Hrvatsku. Opisane su karakteristike UPP terminala na otoku Krku i njegov utjecaj na opskrbljenost prirodnim plinom Republike Hrvatske i potrošnja prirodnog plina u zemljama okruženja i europski primjeri FSRU terminala.

Abstract (english)

Energy independence plays a key role in the development of a country, and as such requires sufficient energy resources and as diverse an energy supply as possible. Natural gas is the lowest carbon footprint fossil fuel and thus presents itself as the most significant energy resource for the transition from the polluting energy resources to green i.e renewable energy resources. In this thesis the energy consumption of Europe and the Republic of Croatia is analysed, with an emphasis on natural gas as well as the new natural gas pipelines through which natural gas could be imported into the Republic of Croatia. The characterstics of the island of Krk LNG terminal are described, as well as their effect on the natural gas supply of the Republic of Croatia and its neighbouring countries and their natural gas consumption- Also some examples of European FSRU terminals are provided and described.
