Abstract

Izgradnja terminala za ukapljeni prirodni plin (UPP) na otoku Krku tema je koja se već punih 25 godina provlači kroz brojne rasprave, studije, zaključke ili znanstveno-stručne skupove vezane uz energetiku i energetsku politiku Republike Hrvatske, iako nikada zapravo nisu točno definirani vrsta i kapacitet terminala koji bi bio najpovoljniji i najprihvatljiviji za Republiku Hrvatsku. Trenutno je ta tema ponovno aktualna budući da je ovaj projekt proglašen projektom od zajedničkog interesa EU (engl. Project of Common Intrest - PCI). Između 20 odabranih projekata iz CEF fonda (engl. Connecting Europe Facility) odobreno je i 550.000 eura za plutajući UPP brod na Krku, a novac je predviđen za studije i laboratorijska istraživanja te izvješća. Ne ulazeći u odluku kako će se projekt izgradnje UPP terminala u Republici Hrvatskoj realizirati, u radu su prikazani način i rezultati provedene PEST analize (engl. Political, Economic, Social and Technological) kojom je obuhvaćeno ukupno 16 arbitrarno odabranih čimbenika raspoređenih prema elementima PEST analize – političkim, ekonomskim, socio-kulturnim i tehnološkim za UPP terminal u Republici Hrvatskoj te su valorizirani snaga utjecaja i značaj djelovanja svakog pojedinog čimbenika na sam projekt.

Abstract (english)

Abstract: Construction of the LNG terminal on the island of Krk is being a topic already, for 25 years, of the numerous discussions, studies, conclusions or scientific and professional meetings about energy and energy policy of the Croatia and without being precisely defined the type and capacity of the terminal, the most convenient and the most acceptable for Croatia. Today, this issue becomes important since this project was declared as project of common interest of the EU (Project of Common Interest - PCI). Among the 20 selected projects from the CEF Fund, EUR 550 000 were approved for floating LNG vessel on the island Krk, and the money is intended for studies and reports. Without going into the decision of how the LNG terminal will be constructed, this paper presents the methods and results of the PEST analysis covering a total of 16 arbitrarily selected factors of the PEST analysis - political, economic, social and technological, the impact forces and the importance of action of each factor on the project.
