Abstract

Predmet istraživanja ovoga rada su stijene jugozapadnog dijela Medvednice, na području
omeđenom trima kamenolomima: Podsusedsko Dolje, Bizek i Ivanec Bistranski. Cilj rada bio je
definirati karakteristične litofacijese na istraživanom području. Terenskim istraživanjem i
mikropetrografskom analizom izdvojeno je ukupno sedam litofacijesa (trijaski litofacijesi: Litofacijes dolomita (L1) i Litofacijes dolomitnih breča (L2); kredni litofacijesi: Litofacijes karbonatnih klastita (L3); badenski litofacijesi: Litofacijes baznih konglomerata (L4), Litofacijes
šupljikavih vapnenaca (litavaca) (L5), Litofacijes litotamnijskih vapnenaca (L6) i Litofacijes
glinovitih biokalkarenita (L7). Svi rezultati istraživanja integrirani su u GIS bazu podataka i
prikazani na karti litofacijesa istraživanog područja.

Abstract (english)

Abstract: The subject of this thesis were the rocks from the southwestern part of Medvednica Mt. in the area
bounded by the position of three quarries: Podsusedsko Dolje, Bizek and Ivanec Bistranski. Main
goal of the investigation was to define characteristic lithofacies in the study area. Seven lithofacies
were defined by field-work and micropetrographical analysis (Triassic lithofacies: Dolomite
lithofacies (L1) and Dolomitic breccia lithofacies (L2); Cretaceous lithofacies: Carbonate clastic
lithofacies (L3); and Badenian lithofacies: Basal conglomerate lithofacies (L4), Porous limestone
lithofacies (so-called „litavac“) (L5), Lithothamnium limestone lithofacies (L6) and Clayey
biocalcarenite lithofacies (L7). All the results are integrated into the GIS database and displayed
on a lithofacies map of the study area.
