Abstract

Akcidenti u naftnoj industriji događaju se u svim segmentima: istraživanju, proizvodnji, transportu, obradi i skladištenju. Akcidenti se događaju diljem svijeta, ali Azija kao regija prednjači prema njihovu broju zbog lošije primjene standarda i nedovoljne edukacije radnika. U sjećanju opće populacije najviše ostaju nesreće koje uzrokuju velika zagađenja na moru, poput havarije platforme Deepwater Horizon. Uzrok gotovo svih akcidenata u naftnoj industriji je ljudska pogreška; nekad je to manji previd, a nekad je riječ o većoj pogrešci čija je posljedica akcident. U ovom radu analizirani su najveći i najvažniji akcidenti od 80-ih godina prošlog stoljeća naovamo, a svaki se od njih prema nečemu ističe, bilo po veličini zagađenja, broju stradalih ili prema važnosti za naftno-plinsku industriju neke regije.

Abstract (english)

Accidents in the oil industry occur in all segments: exploration, production, transport, processing and storage. Accidents occur all over the world, but Asia is a region with most accidents due to poor implementation standards and poor training of employees. The average population mainly remembers accidents that caused large offshore pollution, such as the Deepwater Horizon accident. Almost all accidents have human error as a cause, sometimes it is a small oversight, but sometimes it is related to a major mistake that causes an accident. This thesis analyzes the largest and most important accidents in the last 40 years. The criteria for their selection is based on the size of the impact, i.e. the scope extent of the pollution, the number of fatalities or the sole significance of that accident for the oil industry in a particular region.
