Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu prikazani su rezultati geoloških i hidrogeoloških istraživanja na području
gornjeg sliva potoka Jalševec. Područje istraživanja se nalazi na jugoistočnim padinama Medvednice
u neogenskim naslagama. Prikupljeni su uzorci stijena za geološku interpretaciju. Mjerena je razina
vode u lokalnim zdencima te pomoću njih približno određena dubina na kojoj se nalazi podzemna
voda odnosno voda koja se procjeđivanjem zadržava pod površinom. Izrađena je karta ekvipotencijala
za istražno područje pomoću programa Surfer te su svi podaci ucrtani u ArcGISu.

Abstract (english)

Abstract: This thesis presents the results of geological and hydrogeological studies in the upper basin area of Jalševec creek. The research area is located on the south-eastern slopes of Mt. Medvednica within the Neogene sedimentary rocks. Samples of rocks have been collected for geological interpretation. The water level was measured in local wells and used to determine the depth of ground water and seepage water retained under the surface. The purpose of the research was to determine whether at the studied locality could be appropriate for drilling the well. A map of the equipotencial lines was made for the exploration area using Surfer and all data are plotted in ArcGIS.
