Abstract

Obrađena je problematika gospodarenja otpadom u Republici Hrvatskoj (RH) i Gradu Ivanić-Gradu. Cilj u postupanju otpadom kako u cijeloj državi tako i na lokalnoj razini je uspostava valjanog sustava gospodarenja otpadom. Zanemarivanjem problema otpada dovelo je do ozbiljnog sadašnjeg stanja za čije rješavanje je potrebno provesti hitne i učinkovite mjere. U radu je prikazano stanje gospodarenja otpadom RH i Grada Ivanić-Grada uz prikazane primjere dobre prakse koji ispunjavaju ciljeve zadane od strane Europske unije (EU), a mogli bi se primijeniti u sustavu gospodarenja otpadom Grada Ivanić-Grada i cijele Republike Hrvatske.

Abstract (english)

The problems of waste management in the Republic of Croatia and the City of Ivanić-Grad were discussed. The aim of waste management both in the state as a whole and at the local level is to establish a sound waste management system. By neglecting the waste problem, it has led to a serious state affairs that needs to be addresses urgently and effectively. The paper presents the state of waste management of Republic of Croatia and the City of Ivanić-Grad with examples of good practice that meet the goals set by the EU and could be applied in the waste management system of the City of Ivanić-Grad and the entire Republic of Croatia.
