Abstract

Na području Studenog potoka na Plješevici terenskim radom i mikropetrografskom analizom uzoraka stijena izdvojeni su jurski litofacijesi: L1 - Litofacijes svijetlih, rekristaliziranih vapnenaca; L2 - Litofacijes mikritnih vapnenaca; L3 - Litofacijes karbonatnih breča i permski litofacijes L4 - Litofacijes gipsa. Napravljene su mikropetrografske analize stijena, analiza potočnog sedimenta te analize vode. Analizama je utvrđena povezanost petroloških značajki stijena na istraživanom području s geokemijskim karakteristikama vode. Kemijske analize vode Studenog potoka pokazale su povišen sadržaj glavnih kationa, od kojih su najzastupljeniji kalcij i magnezij. Povišene koncentracije posljedica su toka potoka kroz karbonatne stijene. Iako se nedaleko izvorišta Studenog potoka nalazi olovno - cinčano orudnjenje, nisu utvrđene povišene koncentracije željeza, mangana i cinka. Dobiveni rezultati potvrđuju hipotezu da petrološke značajke stijena na području izvorišta Studenog potoka imaju značajan utjecaj na geokemijske karakteristike vode.

Abstract (english)

Abstract: In the area of the Studeni stream in Pljesevica fieldwork and micropetrographic analysis of present rock samples singled out jurassic lithofacies: L1 - Lithofacies of bright, recrystallized limestones; L2 - Lithofacies of micritic limestone; L3 - Lithofacies of carbonate breccias and permian lithofacies L4 - Lithofacies of gypsum. Micropetrographic analysis of rocks, analysis of stream sediment and water analysis determined the close relationship between petrological characteristics of the rocks in the study area with the geochemical characteristics of water. Chemical analyzes of water Studeni stream showed increased concentration of major cations, of which the most common are calcium and magnesium. Increased concentrations are interpreted as a nonsequence of stream flow through carbonate rocks. Although source of Studeni stream is near lead - zinc plated ore deposit, there were not fortified increased concentrations of iron, manganese and zinc. The results confirm the hypothesis that the petrological characteristics of the rock in the area of the source Studeni stream have a significant impact on the geochemical characteristics of water.
